I love this house! Logistically, I'm not sure about living there, but wouldn't it be fun to rent for a few weeks? The aerial view of it is amazing! And, I'm sure that it is chilly (read FREEZING) there, so you could hang out on the patio wearing sweaters around a fire. So nice. But, again, only for a few weeks.

Mike had his proposal defense on Thursday and he rocked it! All of his professors agreed. Ben came this weekend to celebrate and celebrate we did. Lots of pool time - the only way to be outside in the summer. So hot!!

I am finally posting again! My parents came back after visiting Rebekah in California and we went to Apache Junction for the day, antiquing and visiting Goldfield ghost town. Fun!

Look at these cool pieces from David Clarke!  I love them.  He is a British artist and apparently very talented with silversmithing and reusing old elements.

These are two gorgeous songs that I am obsessed with right now. They are both from relatively recent movies - Leap Year (song is a cover, obviously) and Crazy Heart.  I don't know why the screens are cropped, but it doesn't affect the sound!

Happy Independence Day! Better late than never. We rode our bikes down to Tempe Town Lake last night and watched the fireworks. Fun! My parents were here all week and we did tons of running around. We found some great stuff at various antique stores throughout the valley and spent Saturday in the pool with lots of homemade ice cream!
